Simcoe is an amazing hop to use in single hop varieties, as well as American style pale ales and IPAs. It has the foundation to be a bittering hop, but also has strong aroma and flavour characteristics. Alpha Acid: 12-15%, Beta Acid: 3-4.5% Profile: Passion fruit, Pine, Berry, Earth. Typical Brewing Style: Pale Ale, IPA, Porter, Barley Wine, Ales, Wheat, Saison. Possible Substitutes: Summit, Mosiac
